I came from Tibet

I was born in Tibet. I came here and grew up in exile, I have no friends and I have no idea about my life. I feel very strange because it’s difficult to adapt to everything that is different from my native land.12204543_1171220492893467_436175666_nI was homesick and I would cry every day. I miss my family, but I can’t do anything.

I have to move on.

However, moving on is not easy for me because I was only 5 years old when I left my family and came to India. I wish to go back and lay in my mother’s warm lap. It’s difficult to grow up without parent’s love, but they sacrificed everything and sent us (with siblings) to a better and safer place.

Those were the last two words he said, and I was little kid, I was excited to see and try out my new clothes that I didn’t even realize that he had already left. I looked up and around but I couldn’t find him anywhere… he was gone.

I asked my brother about father and he told me that he left. That day I cried a lot…I cried a lot because I didn’t get one last glimpse of him and I didn’t get to say goodbye. Maybe that’s why the memory of that particular day is etched in my heart and I think of that day every day.
